Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment, as you’ll need to complete some paperwork before your assessment begins.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing (for example, workout/activewear) and flat, closed-in shoes.
Make sure your mobile phone is switched off or on silent during your assessment.
You may need to provide a urine sample, so make sure you’re well-hydrated by drinking lots of water!
Only the person having the assessment will be able to enter (exemptions apply). Please let us know if you need assistance to undertake your assessment.
Please don’t bring children to your appointment. If you know you have an assessment booked, we ask that you organise alternative childcare.
Please give us a call as soon as possible so we can offer your spot to someone else and reschedule.
Photo ID, such as your passport or driving license.
Information about any current medications/medication list.
We offer two types of health assessment: medical and functional. Both are performed by qualified doctors, nurses and OT health professionals.
Medical assessments take about 30 minutes to complete. However, please allow up to an hour for your booking as you may also be asked to complete paperwork and additional tests.
Functional assessments can take up to an hour to complete. They may take longer if you’re also having a full medical assessment. The evaluation determines your ability to perform role-related tasks.
You may be asked to perform a step test to assess your cardiovascular fitness for job matching. The assessor will also check your blood pressure, heart rate and flexibility.
